CALMS 2016 Conference

Join us for our 31st Annual CALMS Conference, October 13-14. This year we'll have a great venue at the University of California Davis with plenty of things to enjoy before and after the conference in the City of Davis. The Hallmark Inn at UC Davis is holding a block of rooms for us at a cost of $124/night single and $134/night double. Make your reservations under the “CA Lake Management Society Conference” discount rate any time prior the conference date (pending availability).

This year’s theme is Lake Management Under Changing Conditions with a focus on climate change implications for management. Thursday’s agenda is a full day of presentations, with breaks for refreshments and networking, followed by the CALMS business meeting and a social dinner.

On Friday, you will be taken on a field trip to the Solano Project, owned by the Bureau of Reclamation. The Project includes the state’s fifth largest reservoir, Lake Berryessa, behind Monticello Dam in Napa County and a smaller lake created by the diversion structure. The Solano Project provides recreation in the two lakes, water for irrigation and potable users in Solano County, and downstream releases for habitat and riparian users.
Register and reserve your spot for CALMS 2016.
